Taskdata is a group company specializing in IT and Big Data, with prominent locations in Germany and Russia and headquarters in Switzerland. It was established as a boutique consulting firm focused on Master Data Management (MDM) and started its operations in 2011, with its first successful MDM implementations provided to Maersk Line (Denmark) and General Electric (US). 

Since then the company has drastically extended the area of expertise, but it remains focused on various Enterprise Data Management (EDM) technologies such as MDM, Data Quality (DQ), Data Governance (DG), IIOT, and other Big Data related services. 

Taskdata works with various technology partners and continuously excels in its expertise in the EDM area by partnering with technology leaders, creating its own project accelerators, and taking part in the top-class world conferences including Gartner events and Vaud International Business Awards (PVEI). 

Currently Taskdata has started to actively engage with MDM and DG open-source community to influence the future of the EDM. The company also provides commercial services based on the MDM and DG open-source products.  

Besides providing EDM services, Taskdata has opened an R&D center that assists several international startups in creating their products in such areas as MDM, FinTech, and DG.
